Use this prayer to ask for Lady Fortuna’s help.
Lady Fortuna, I want to talk to you about something that has been on my mind for a while now. I am very happy with the career you have blessed me with. My career has brought me so much abundance and financial rewards. Additionally, it brought me fulfillment and joy because, despite the work it entails, it has afforded me enough time to spend with my family.
The stream of success and joy I have enjoyed from my career is the reason I’m before you to plead that you save me from behavior or actions that will lead to career suicide. It is common for successful career people to experience hubris as they climb up the success ladder. It is common for them to begin to think they’re above the law.
I pray for the spirit of humility as success and abundance continue to become my portion. I pray for the spirit of humility to continue to treat my coworkers with kindness and dignity regardless of the difference in financial or social status. I pray for the humility never to put down my coworkers. Save me from making irrational decisions – such as contradicting my boss in a rude manner – that can put my career in danger. Please save me from greed and the spirit of entitlement.
Continue to remind me that all my blessings and abundance come from you. I don’t want to be like others who become entitled to promotions or special privileges.
